AFI Changemakers(tm) is a program of Ariel Foundation International (AFI) and made possible through the efforts of it president, Dr Ariel King. Dr King believes passionately in the rights of young people, including their right to have their voices heard. AFI provides financial and logistical support, as well as the experience of Dr King, enabling young people to lead Changemakers onto the international stage. “AFI Changemakers” and “Ariel Foundation International” are trademarks of Ariel Foundation International.
In addition to AFI, in 2008 Dr King founded the Ariana-Leilani Children’s Foundation International to educate and advocate for Children’s Human Rights, and Ariel Consulting International, Inc. founded in 2000, a company that creates and enhances Public-Private Partnerships in international policy, and management in health, strategic planning and business with focus on developing countries.
AFI was approved for Economic, Cultural and Social Council (ECOSOC) special statusforNon-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in 2016 at the United Nations in NY.
Dr King’s focus on International Public-Private Partnerships in Development has its foundation in 35 years of living and working in 11 countries and traveling to over 60 countries in Asia, Africa, Americas, Middle-East and Europe. Dr King’s life focus is on the world’s children and youth, and their human rights. She is also the very proud mother of 12-year old “Little Ambassador” Ariana-Leilani Margarita Alexandra KingPfeiffer, whose life has inspired the founding of the Ariana-Leilani Children’s Foundation International (2008) to educate and advocate for children’s human rights worldwide.
